Why should you attend a farmers' markets? Normally our vendors can only sell as auto-producers, where the product has to go through middlemen and to the supermarket. Often farmers have to then time their picking and harvesting, sometimes picking their crops before they fully mature so that they don't rot in transit or on the shelves. Farmers' markets are allows you to bypass the wait time, allowing farmers to leave their product on the vines a little longer, giving them a more nutritious and robust taste. This means you are getting a better quality product at a lower price since the farmer doesn't need to charge to cover for all the middle men that operate in a supermarket system.
